Terms and Conditions and FAQ

Terms and conditions:

RULES

By commencing a round of mini golf, you agree to adhere to the rules as set out on the reverse side of the scorecard and shown here:

  • Stroke Limit – 8 shots per hole then move on
  • Out Of Bounds – Place ball back in play, one club head from the point where the ball left the golf course.  Add a one shot penalty
  • Sand and Water Traps – Do not hit out of sand (artificial) or water.  Retrieve the ball and place on the green one club head from the point where it left the green.  Add a one shot penalty
  • Obstacles – If obstacles or sidewalls prevent putting, you may move the ball one club head toward the centre of the fairway
  • Tee Off – Do not commence play until previous players have moved on to the next hole
  • Safety – Do not enter ponds or streams.  This is a putting course, do not take a full swing at the ball.  Play safely and think of others

HOURS

Our opening hours are updated on our Google business listing, these updates will include any early closures, closures and public holiday times.

Putters will close up to 30 minutes earlier than the advertised time in the event of there being no current participants.

OPEN/CLOSE

Rounds must be completed within our operating hours and the premises vacated on closing time.

Commencement of golf will only be permitted if staff deem there to be sufficient time to complete the round – under no circumstance will a group be permitted to commence golf within half an hour of closing time – please see our ‘How long does it take to play?’ FAQ for minimum recommended time allowance.

PROPERTY DAMAGE

A participant who damages our property as a result of reckless/careless behaviour or not otherwise taking reasonable care, will be held liable for the repair/replacement cost or value of the damage.

Non return of your golf ball will result in your forfeiting your ball deposit of $2.  Non return or return of a damaged golf club will result in a replacement fee of $30.

EJECTION

Putters Adventure Golf and its staff reserve the right to eject people who are not complying with the terms, or who are otherwise acting in a way that is unsafe, disorderly, or antisocial.

FAQ:

Can we book to play earlier or later than normal hours?

We do regularly accept bookings for outside of our normal hours, these are assessed on a case by case basis and are subject to financial feasibility and staff availability.

Do you have alcohol, or can we bring our own?

No, we do not currently offer alcohol and the consumption of alcohol at Putters is strictly prohibited.

How many people should play per group?

We ask for groups of 4 or less.  Larger groups should be split into groups of 4 or less and will commence their rounds directly in front and behind each other.  This does not affect the social aspect as the groups are still within close proximity of each other, but allows to maintain reasonable round times.

What if we have 5 players?

We appreciate there are instances where it is impractical for groups to split up into 4 or less, in the cases we do allow for groups of more than 4 to play, but, due to the increased time taken to play, we ask that groups of more than 4 players let smaller groups ‘play through’ so as to not impact the times of all golfers following them.

How long does it take to play?

There are a few factors which affect how long the round will take, but as a general rule, without a group in front slowing you down, we recommend a minimum of:

2 Players – 40 Minutes per course*

3 Players – 50 Minutes per course*

4 Players – 1 Hour per course

*If you are following a group of 3 or 4, your round time will be equal to theirs
